Far Cry 2 Patch: Corruption problems addressed with update

Looks like Ubisoft have finally gotten their act together on the Far Cry 2 issues that a lot of you have been having problems with. Ubisoft have released a title update for the game for the Xbox 360 version, with PS3 and PC updates coming soon.
According to the official patch notes from Ubisoft, the update will ‘Reduce significantly the probability of having a corrupted save game.’ Along with that, there are also more fixes for the single player mode and a detailed list of changes for the multiplayer mode.
Ubisoft have also added some new features into the game in the title update. These are a brand new ‘Hardcore’ mode and some new ranked match options.

dear sir,
I have a problem with farcry 2,that is somtimes it starts to flicker and i see red green dots and the the computer hangs,and there is no way to end task or any thing,u just have to restart the computer with a restart button.
please help if u know what is the cause.
my computer specs are:
intel core 2
6300 @ 1.86 GHZ
2.00 GB Ram
Nvidia 7950, 512 MB
