E3 2009: Next PS3 firmware update and new feature

There have been talks about a possible Sony PS3 firmware update during the upcoming E3 event. The source comes from a dutch gaming site who say that the new firmware update will bring with it a brand new feature.

As Playstation Lifestyle points out, it’s unsure as to the reliability of the source. The dutch website in question is PS3-Sense who have stated that their sources are reliable.

However, if the story does indeed turn out to be true, then it’s set to be a exciting E3 event for PS3 owners. Sony usually save their big announcements untill E3 so maybe we will see a new firmware.

The cross-game voice chat debate is re-opened for discussion guys. Do you think Sony will bring a new firmware to E3?

The PS3 has come on leaps and bounds over the past 2 years and any improvements are (at least) one step closer to the other consoles.

DNS Errors ARE an ISP problem - generally because most ADSL Providers insist on you using DHCP to connect to their service and when their DHCP Server refreshes then the PSN will kick you out! Unavoidable unless you change your PS3 from DHCP to Manual IP Address and fix the DNS Address to the one provided by your service (PCs don’t suffer because the DNS Address is cached during an ISP IP Refresh - a microsoft thing, which is also a problem on the XB360, btw!!)

Anyway - as I am a UK User, I am still waiting for downloadable movies and also a more reliable Remote Play System cos it really DOESN’T do what it says on the tin!!
