PS3’s Gran Turismo 5: night racing and weather changes

We have some hot new details now on upcoming PS3 racer Gran Turismo 5. After an interview with producer Kazunori Yamauchi, its been revealed that night racing and weather changes will feature in the new game.

As reported from GTPlanet, Kazunori Yamauchi was asked a series of questions by Audi, as part of the Audi R8 Meets Gran Turismo 5 mini-site and documentary which GTPlanet have reported on.

As well as night racing and weather changes, GTPlanet say that damage may also be introduced into Gran Turismo 5. You can check out the full interview in the link above, it was translated from German but you can still pick out the details clearly.

    It was never a question of whether i’ll buy it or not. Merely a question of when I’m going to put my preorder in (Here’s a hint: As soon as a launch date is announced). Cannot WAIT!

    I know what you mean, it’ll be awesome as long as it’s released before the four horsemen turn up. If anything can increase sales of the PS3 (which is a lot healthier than the “let’s just quote the US sales figures” suggest) it’s a Gran Turismo game. I don’t suppose GOWIII & any Final Fantasy games will hurt either.
