New iPhone and Blackberry app from Reuters

Good news for all of you who like to keep up to date with the latest news on the go as Reuters are releasing their news app today on the Apple iPhone and Blackberry phones.

As Moconews reports, the move is due to the companies attempt to invest heavily in order to build up it’s multimedia capabilities. An news app for two of the most popular brands of phones out there is a good way to start.

Both apps will be free to download on the iPhone and Blackberry models, but Thomson Reuters’ SVP, head of consumer publishing has said that the company hope to turn the apps into two products that will generate revenue via advertising and subscriptions.
