
Windows 7 Readiness: NVIDIA leads the way
By: Alan Ng | May 8, 2009 | Leave a CommentWith the upcoming release of Windows 7 upon us, one big company thats ready for the new OS is Nvidia, as they are the first hardware vendor to release Windows 7 WHQL certified drivers for All PC Platforms.
As an article from Yahoo Finance explains, Nvidia will be fully prepared for the enhancing gaming experience that Windows 7 will provide once it is released.
Dwight Diercks, vice president of software engineering at NVIDIA had this to say on Windows 7: “Windows 7 users now have the absolute latest in performance and support for features including SLI, PhysX, 3D Vision, and DirectX Compute. For gaming, video transcoding, and an overall better computing experience on Windows 7, users now have the peace of mind knowing that we have the official Microsoft WHQL stamp of approval.”
