Windows 7 RC download now, release date this fall

For those of you who are already about to throw Windows Vista in the trash, you will be pleased to learn that the final test version of Microsoft’s Windows 7 is now available for you to try out. Windows users have heard a number of rumors that they could see the full release version of the new Windows 7 operating system by the fall.

Boston Herald tells us that this free version is available from www.microsoft.com. Just remember that this test version will stop working on working June 1, 2010. That is more than enough time to get used to the new OS.

Microsoft looks to be on to something here, it is good strategy to give away the new OS for free, considering all the bad press that they have had with Windows Vista. If users test drive Windows 7 out first and they like it, then they will want to purchase the full version. If the users do not like the new OS, then they cannot complain about wasting money.
