RIM BlackBerry 8520 Gemini: Release in Q4 for T-Mobile

Good news for those of you who are keeping your eye on the Blackberry 8520. Previously code named Gemini, the Blackberry 8520 Curve now has a possible carrier and release date.

As reported from BGR, the phone is going to be released on T-Mobile in the 4th Quarter of 2009. You can view a few snazzy images of the phone in the link above. At the moment, details are very sparse on the Blackberry 8520 but we do know that the phone will feature an optical trackball.

BGR have had a chance to sample this optical trackball and stated that ‘its awesome and makes your brand new BlackBerry feel outdated.’

No pricing details have been announced yet, but we’ll keep you updated on news as we get it.
