New iPhone Price Plan: AT&T considering cut
By: Peter Chubb | May 8, 2009 | Leave a CommentThere have been reports that AT&T is to reduce its price plan of its Apple iPhone by $10-a-month. This decision was not one taken lightly, but something had to be done as AT&T and Apple have been facing some serious competition from BlackBerry handsets, such as the Curve from RIM (Research In Motion).
Other handsets are also starting to breath down the neck of the Apple iPhone, such Nokia, Android-powered devices and the yet to be released Palm Pre. News Factor reckons that Apple and AT&T are not sitting around and are due to stir things up at the upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference.
Do not think that Apple will lie down and let these other smartphones take its market share, Apple have sold more than 17 million iPhones and they are all ready planning their next move. Many believe that Appleās next movie is the launch of a new iPhone, which we should see in the summer. That is if these rumors are correct.
