
Kindle DX: Publishers face profit challenge

Information Week explains that textbook publisher’s biggest challenge is with them joining several universities who are testing the usefulness of Amazon Kindle DX, they will be trying to find ways to make large amounts of money with these e-book readers.
We mentioned in a post earlier this week that Amazon announced the launch of its new bigger and better Kindle device, the DX. This is a more expensive version of its Kindle 2 e-reader, and apart from the much larger screen, it is packed with the latest technology needed for publishers.
