Guitar Hero: Could become reality TV show and concert tour
By: Alan Ng | May 8, 2009 | Leave a CommentIt’s been reported today that Activision are considering the possibility of making their Guitar Hero game franchise into a TV reality show and/or a real life concert tour.
In a story over at Reuters, Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick was asked in an interview about the ‘Hero’ part of the franchise and he had this to say: “It might make for a good TV show or a good concert tour.”
The news comes after “Hero” and “Duty” (as in Call of Duty) were two of the top five best-selling franchises across all video game platforms in Europe and the U.S. during the first quarter.
What do you think about a Guitar Hero TV reality show? We kind of like the idea actually, its definately an interesting turn of direction for the franchise.
