
App Store testing and review will occur on iPhone OS 3.0
By: Alan Ng | May 8, 2009 | Leave a CommentApple has revealed to developers that all future App store testing and reviews will be handled on iPhone OS 3.0, in readiness for this Summer. Along with that, incompatible applications will not be approved we understand.
The news comes from Engadget after they reported that Apple forwarded an email to them, explaining the details. As you are aware though, we are now on beta 5 of the OS 3.0 firmware, so current developers shouldnt find this a problem too much.
Engadget has also found out that Apple are preparing some sort of App rating system after noticing a set of parental controls within beta 5.
