Confirmed: Ghostbusters exclusive to PS3 in Europe, Multiplatform in US

Ok, we can now clear up all the confusion surrounding Sony’s exclusive deal for Ghostbusters. It has been confirmed that the game will be exclusive to PS3, PS2 in PAL regions ONLY. Atari will still publish the game for multiplatform for release in June.

So, glad thats all cleared up for you? As reported from GameZine, it turns out that Sony will only publish the game for EU regions and release on June 19th, making it exclusive over there, which now means other platforms will sadly miss out on the game in Europe.

Over in the US however, Atari will still be in charge of publishing rights and will release the game onto PS3, PS2, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, DS and PC on June 16th as originally planned.
