
Apple iPhone OS 3.0 beta 5 released
By: Alan Ng | May 7, 2009 | 1 CommentIt looks as if we are going to be getting the proper release of Apple’s iPhone OS 3.0 very soon, as beta 5 has just gone live we can confirm. The news comes just over a week since iPhone OS 3.0 beta 4 was released.
As reported from Engadget, the beta 5 is set to fix numerous bug fixes and issues that occured in beta 4. Along with the OS 3.0 Beta 5 release, Apple have also posted a pre-release version of iTunes 8.2. The official notes indicate that you must download and install itunes 8.2 in order to activate iPhone OS 3.0 Beta 5 on your iPhone or iPod Touch.
Looks like Apple are all set to unveil the final version at this year’s WWDC event in June. Let us know what your impressions are on the new beta.
