As the world prepares for the 4th generation of Apple iPhone, one of the big questions customers are wondering is, Which network will Apple decide to partner with?
According to this Phonesreview report, Verizon’s Ivan Seidenberg believes that their Verizon Wireless Network has a good chance of handling the new Apple iPhone 4G, thanks to new technology within their network.
The company may have made a mistake with Apple in the past, but they believe their 4G LTE network technology which GSM carriers such as AT&T and CDMA carrier Verizon are running, stands them in good stead for a possible deal with Apple.
Do you think the new iPhone will be available on AT&T or Verizon? Let us know your opinions and reasons why.

idk where but i really hope verizon.
FYI … My Dad works in a high position for alltel/verizon and still works for them. The Iphone WILL be coming to Verizon. I cant say the exact date but it will be somewhere before fall 2010 ive seen one held it and played on it . im not sure of anymore details than that . I always get to test new phones and this one is user friendly and has some new features that impressed me .it also works as a wireless hub for computer connections ..thats all im gonna say !!
apple does not have anything with at&t. att said they would offer the phone for apple and that’s it, they wont put there name on it an anyway…they had a 2 year agrement that ended june 29 2008. now they have stuck with at&t for another year but there is alot of talk that they may come to verizon… is it true i guess we will see. also the talk that verizon wont be able to use the phone like it is is stupid, the phone was originally made for verizon, apple did not want a sim. but verizon miss the chance and then they went to at&t. Also the updates will be more often and free..
OMG a VCAST iPhone would S*U*C*K … it would completely destroy what an iPhone is… Why does Verizon insist on pushing that snotty little ragamuffin of an app store onto the successful behemoth that is the iTunes store? And I wouldn’t be surprised if the Verizon iPhone will come with a red-and-black default UI color scheme/theme… ugh no thanks. If that happens, I definetely will have to jailbreak my phone just to get rid of VCAST…
Please remember that Apple will have to make a physically different phone with CDMA transcievers in it to be on Verizon, and it’s not just a simple switch-of-the-SIM-card thing that a lot of people have been heard talking about. The two phones will be physically different, albeit hopefully internal only.
I don’t like AT&T either and would love a Verizon phone but I get the feeling Verizon is going to cripple the iPhone just as much… not in network quality or coverage, but in functionality by forcing it to use VCAST.
i don’t believe the IPhone will be going to Verizon. First off, Verizon’s policy is to force their software over the operating system of any phone. The Storm was crippled because of it, yes i do know what i am talking about, i processed alot of returns of the good ole’ Storm. It’s that way with all of Verizon’s phones…i do not see Apple letting any of their products reduced to that. I understand that Motorola’s Android based phone may raise an eyebrow, but that’s it. I kinda agree that perhaps Apple may release something to please Verizon’s loyal few, but it wouldn’t be an IPhone, Verizon missed that ship along time ago, and trust me they’ve been kicking themselves ever since. I say wait and watch how they bungle this Motorola Android phone…they will. Hope i am wrong, but…well we’ll see.
One more thing. No one has seen the version that was ment for Verizon. Despite those saying it was intended for Verizon(true), however EVERY must remember this…Verizon was determined to undermind the phone by forcing it’s own operating system on it. That was the Deal breaker, and AT&T does have an exclusivity contract and you can not get around that, also fair to mention that Apple has insisted that it is very happy with AT&T as the carrier for North America. Also i can’t see Apple just going to Verizon and giving up 150.00 per IPhone just to saturate the market, they just wouldnt do that, the proof is already infront of us meaning how many Verizon customers cancelled or just didn’t renew to go to AT&T for the IPhone? Why re-invent the wheel when its turning so well already….
