Apple iPhone’s with water exposure now being replaced

We have a bit of good news for those of you with damaged iPhones as Apple has backtracked on their fierce warranty stance by offering to replace your broken iPhone for a fee of $199.

According to Intomobile, Apple are starting to become more lenient towards warranty replacement guidelines as all directions point to another iPhone being released this Summer. The $199 replacement fee applies to all kinds of iPhones, 1st gen, 2nd gen, 4GB, 8GB and 16GB.

If you’re one of the ones who will need to make use of the replacement service, you can pop into any Apple store and hand over your damaged iPhone. You won’t get a brand new one though, only a refurbished one, but it’s better than nothing eh?
