Windows 7: Public RC is now available to download

We can confirm to you that the wait is finally over. Microsoft have released their Windows 7 RC to the public and its available to download right now in a variety of languages.

As reported by ArsTechnica, the RC is available for download in 32 and 64 bit versions. The beta keys Microsoft gave out during the beta are expected to work fine with the 7100 build.

Microsoft have tried to calm the inevitable server stampede by stating: “It will be available at least through June 30, 2009, with no limits on the number of downloads or product keys available. So you don’t need rush to make sure you get your copy. When you’re ready to download the RC, it’ll be waiting for you.”
