RIM Blackberry Curve vs. Apple iPhone: In Specs

We wrote earlier today about RIM’s success over Apple during the first quarter of 2009. The two phones in question, the Blackberry Curve and Apple iPhone each have their advantages, but which do you prefer?

We all know Blackberry phones are mostly known for their excellent messaging capabilities, but lets take a look at some of the other main features for the Blackberry Curve:

- 2.0MP Camera / Camcorder
- 35-key QWERTY
- Built in speakerphone
- Supports microSDHC capable up to 32GB
- 3.5 mm headset jack
- Bluetooth 2.0

The Apple iPhone on the other hand shook the world apart thanks to its wonderful touch screen interface and App store downloads. Other features include:

- Multi-touch screen interface plus a “Home” button and “Sleep/Wake” located on the top of the iPhone.
- Built-in rechargeable, non-removable battery
- 2 megapixel camera
- Location finding by detection of cell towers and Wi-Fi networks
- 8GB or 16GB flash memory
- 128MB RAM
- Quad Band

With the updated Blackberry Curve 8900 now out and with RIM celebrating more sales than the Apple iPhone in the first quarter of 2009, could the Curve continue to rival the iPhone?

Let us know which phone you prefer out of the two and let us know your reasons why.
