Fallout 3: PC Broken Steel DLC has error after download

What are Bethesda playing at? Apparently, the Broken Steel DLC for the PC version of Fallout 3 is broken already. As explained on the Bethesda forums, the DLC downloads and then throws up an error on the screen.
According to Eurogamer who have tried this themselves, the error reads: “Not a cryptographic message or the cryptographic message is not formatted correctly. (Exception from HRESULT: 0×8009200D).”
Eurogamer also states that there are differences between the reported file-size (510MB) and the file you actually click through to download (471.6MB).
After the problems with The Pitt DLC, you would of thought Bethesda would be keen to avoid any problems this time around. Well, this clearly hasnt been the case.

actually my problem is different, the problem for mine isthat when i wake up from the coma nothing happens it just stays there, the screen isnt frozen its just that nobady is there just the robot and he doesnt even do anything the only thing i can do to interact is press “E” and the only thing that does is make my character moan and i dont know what to do

i got broken steel and i have folloed everything that i was told to do. i cant go in the purefire myself i have to send lyons in. then when i wake up in the citedel (if i go in the purefire i wake up under the bed)(after lyons has been in the purefire)i wake up standing beside the bed and then when the old lyons guy comes in i cant speek to him i need help have i missed a file??
i hAd that problem send lyons in u may wake up standing beside the bed and old guy comes in i cant talk to him reply back if u fugure it out.,..
i have another error here when i finish the main game i start broken steel i can see the ceiling but nothing else happens i tried writing enableplayercontrols on the console but i cant move
