Resident Evil 3 on Wii: Remake or New title?

There had been some excitment among fans regarding Resident Evil 3 on the Nintendo Wii, following a listing over on the Capcom Press Page. Many are wondering what this meant since Capcom were already working on a separate RE title for the Wii and if this was news of a remake of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, or a brand new game.

Sadly though, as Siliconera reports, this has turned out to be a typo from Capcom as Christian Svensson has since stated: “It’s either a shop or a typo. False rumor.”

It’s not all bad news for Wii owners though, as dont forget you still have Resident Evil: Dark Side Chronicles to look forward to at some point.
