Firefox Mobile (Fennec) with Google Location Services Built-in
By: Alan Ng | May 4, 2009 | 1 CommentAs the world prepares itself for the upcoming release of Firefox Mobile (codenamed Fennec) , one of the main features that will be integrated into the browser is Google Location Services.
As reported from UnWiredView, Fennec will now feature geolocation which will serve as an “opt-in tool” that shares users’ location only if they choose to. The addition of geolocation to Fennec will offer a better web-experience for users.
UnWiredView also mention that the geolocation feature should be available in the upcoming Firefox 3.5 Beta 4 for desktop. Meanwhile though, Mozilla are expected to trial an alpha version of Firefox Mobile soon, with a beta one coming sometime in the Summer.
