New iPhone & Palm Pre Release Date Predictions
By: Alan Ng | May 1, 2009
You would of thought by now with Summer so close that either Palm or Apple would give their customers just a little hint of whats in store to come. We have heard news about the new iPhone lite and even more so-called release dates for the Pre, but so far nothing has been confirmed by either company.
A post over at PhonesReview have asked readers for their new predictions on release dates for both devices. After we revealed recently about the new iPhone ‘lite’ and Media Pad rumours, When do you think they will be coming?
The latest release date to come out for the Pre is June 7th. Do you think this is the most believable date to come out so far, or are you still waiting on the fence.
Let us know your thoughts on both devices.

I remember when Palm came out with their patch for the old 700p (which turned my device into a brick). Sprint upgraded me to a 755p but debited my bank account for over $700 when they claimed they never received the tracked brick back to their warehouse. 2 months later I was whole again.
The patch was delayed several times and I believe the release on the Pre will occur at the end of June. When Palm states the first half of 09′ I think they will use that entire duration to make sure it works properly on the Sprint network. In about a month they will announce a release date to further build demand.
This is ridiculous, the phone is supposed to be released this month. (according to a rep @ my local SPRINT store) We have yet to hear an official launch date and/or price. WTF, my contract @ T-mobile has been done for the last 4 months I can only be so patient. I am waiting until mid-June, if no PRE yet it will be on to ATT and the iPhone
That is very funny, I am in the exact same boat, currently with Sprint but on the verge of going to AT&T.
I’m still upset that Palms software and hardware updates in the past have been practically non-existent.
