
MySpace mobile applications help drive it’s growth
By: Alan Ng | April 29, 2009 | Leave a CommentIt looks as if MySpace is still as popular as ever, especially when users are surfing the MySpace page using a mobile device. Myspace have just announced a huge 450% growth in MySpace mobile usage during 2008.
As reported from IntoMobile, the stats means that over 7 billion mobile page views have been generated on MySpace in 2008.
They have said that at the start of 2008, only 10% of MySpace users were using a mobile device. However, at the end of the year, that figure jumped to 35%.
Due to the huge traffic MySpace mobile is currently recieving, MySpace predicts 50% of it’s overall traffic will be achieved on mobile devices.
