UFC 2009 Undisputed Xbox 360 Demo: Too Easy?

The UFC 2009 Undisputed demo was released onto the Xbox 360 last week, but how are you finding it? An article we’ve found has suggested that the game is way too easy, even on the hardest difficulty setting.

TheNightlyGamer have written a detailed review on this very problem and said that due to the current difficulty setting, it offers very little enjoyment and players who are new to the MMA genre will have little reason to pick this up.

    Are you serious? So you are fighting in expert and can beat it rather easily. Maybe you should look around and realize theres many people having difficulties in the expert setting, which is the highest setting possible. And many complain about how hard the subs are to pull off, esp in expert..which is quoted to be near impossible. Maybe a KO would be easier, but try getting on the ground and completing transitions as well as pulling off the subs at the right time. This is by far the best fighting game out, and the strategy and challenge alone is what makes it very intriguing.

    This is a game based on the ufc and people do get knocked out with 1 punch in real life. but i agree with WTFRU Talkinabout try winning a game on the ground with submissions, Not so easy then. also i bet your winning with Liddell his striking is alot better than Rua’s. This is easily the hottest game to come out for PS3. well a close 2nd to COD Modern Warfare. Cant wait for 22nd may…….

    The people who find it too easy are likely just mashing the strike buttons until they get a knockout.

    This game is not easy to beat on expert, that is ridiculous. Also, like most fighting games, the real challenge will be taking on people online. Fight Night Round 3 gets to be pretty easy against the comp, but playing online against real people will always be more challenging than fighting the computer.

    For sure this game is going to be way sick. I love the submission game. I’ve sat there and played it for hours, and i dont think its easy in the least, I still got knocked out manyt times. Try subbing Chuck on expert, then call the game easy, it took me forever. Also I think they gave Chuck his stats from a few years ago when he was one of the best, I like that tho. can’t wait til May 19th.

    Hey. It’s a demo and yes it is easy. Play me when the game comes out and then we’ll see! I can’t wait for this game. It is so well designed and really is going to rock…!!

    Personally, I thought that the game was great. The graphics are incredible, the fighting is spot on and the violence is there as well. Now I did notice a lack of difficulty in the demo…..with the mode on Beginner. Try changing the difficulty setting.

    can’t wait for this game to come out in may, ive been waiting for a good fighting game to come out as im bored waiting for tekken 6, but this looks as though it might actually be better! I’m downloading the demo when i get home

    I love this game!!! Even though it is too easy! I hope they make the expert mode a little harder when the real game comes out. It is too easy to transition and dominate with either fighter. Definitely easy to knock Rua out with Liddell, and easy to ground and pound/submission with Rua. I know a LOT of people complain about subs being too hard, but once you figure it out, it really is quite easy. Just a large learning curve. Its all about timing.

    Expert is pretty darn easy too. With either fighter.
