Opera Mini and it’s massive growth

We all know that the Opera web browser is one of the most popular browsers around at the moment. It’s smaller brother, the Opera Mini is also proving itself to be one of the world’s best browsers in a mobile.

As reported by IntoMobile, Opera have announced that the month of March 2009 showed a 157% increase in usage over the past year, with a 12.1% growth in usage since February 2009. That must be fantastic news for the company.

Opera also report that Opera Mini users searched over 8.6 billion pages in March 2009, which is a huge 255% year-on-year increase and a 17.4% sequential monthly increase.
