Mothers Day 2009: Products or Experiences?

As most of you will be aware, Mother’s Day 2009 is fast approaching. It is always a busy time for retailers and businesses alike as customers shop for flowers, gifts and other kinds of products for their loved ones.

Mother’s Day this year will take place on Sunday 10th May. Usually carnations, either white or red are the standard gift for giving your Mother but what ideas do you have this year?

Other suggestions include Mother’s Day rings which have proven to be very popular in the US. Another popular Mother’s Day trend is dining out at restaurants.
