Left 4 Dead on PC and Xbox 360. Retailers want PS3 version
By: Alan Ng | April 27, 2009
As most of you are aware, Left 4 Dead was released onto PC and Xbox 360 last year. Many thought that a PS3 version was in development, but after hearing various statements from Valve, the PS3 version rumours died. Today though, the PS3 version has been spotted on GAME’s website in Australia, who have the game already listed and priced.
As Kotaku reports, GAME have listed the PS3 version of Left 4 Dead on their website which you can view here. They already have it priced at $99.95 and listed as ‘available to buy in-store’ when the game is supposedly released.
We wonder if Valve or EA will make an official statement on this? Take a look for yourself and let us know what you think. Take no notice of the blatent fanboy comment on their website, it kinda takes fanboy to a whole new level.

Valve said that they would not do a PS3 version of Left 4 Dead much like the Oragne Box. If a PS3 version does ship, which if it does will be great for PS3 owners, but I am sure that Valve did not do the porting of the game themselves.
ps3 onlins sucks the game will not feel the same on the ps3 so it will never happen plus valve hates sony sorry…..
excuse me? ps3 online sucks? what an amazingly stupid piece of fabricated hate drool.
@ Low. There’s now way you won or have played a PS3 online, judging from your statement. I own and play both online, and I can honestly say that the only feature I miss from live, is the cross game chat. Other than that, multiplayer is just as fun on PS3.
Well if they did release it for ps3, I think that it would be cool, and they can take advantage of the ps3’s graphics, ect.
