With E3 2009 just around the corner, speculation is starting to mount up on what is going to be announced and revealed. E3 always seems to spring a few surprises every year and this year is no different as there have been some rumours of potential titles that Sony will announce.
According to PS3Addiction, Sony are going to reveal three big gaming titles as well as more news for the Sony PSP version of Little Big Planet.
The games that will be announced are Heavy Rain, Shadow of the Colossus and Time Splitters 4. As they have no solid sources for these claims, we’ll just have to take it with a pinch of salt until official announcements are made.
Do you think there is any truth in their claims?

Timesplitters 4? I’m going to question that seeing as the Dev behind that one just got bought by Crytek. (FRD).

Heavy Rain isn’t an announcement, we already know about it. All we’re missing is a release date. A GT5 & God of War III release date are just as much an announcements as that.
Whatever Team ICO are working on.
Kingdom Hearts 3?
Eye Pet?
Final Fantasy versus info?
So many choices. Impossible to say at the moment, it’s all guesswork.
we can only speculate at this stage. it will be very interesting what square Enix comes up with this year for major titles. the PS3 missed out big time last year maybe this year will be different.
there is still just over a month before the event and then later this year there is the TGS.
My guesses are:
- PSP: Go! & Little Big Planet for PSP
- Release info on Gran Turismo 5, Heavy Rain,Ratchet and Clank, Quantum Theory, Ninja Gaiden 2, God of War III & MAG.
- We’ll finally get some more info on Team ICO’s game & Persona for PS3 will be announced, along with possible
others.
All in all, Sony should have an impressive show this year.
Sorry almost forget the two games I am looking forward to the most: White Knight Chronicles & Uncharted 2.
Unless M$ announces that Final Fantasy vs is multiplatform, Sony should easily rule E3 this year. Sony first party studio advantage is really starting to propel the console ahead.
when will the E3 for ps3 be in stores for purchase? and how much will it cost?
