Apple iPhone Apps: SuperCross and Uniwar new games
By: Alan Ng | April 25, 2009 | 2 CommentsMany of you are loving the continued support for Apple’s App store. With thousands of Apps to choose from and from a wide range of categories including free Apps, theres something for everyone. Cnet has listed their two favourite iPhone Apps of the week.
As Cnet reports, their first game is a motocross racing game called SuperCross. It is priced at $7.99 and features 3D environments, unlockable tracks and bike customisation. It also has support for the iPhones accelerometer which will allow you to turn the wheels of your bike and have more precision during jumps. Cnet say it’s ‘probably the best game for the iPhone so far.’
Their second choice is a strategy game called Uniwar and is priced at just $2.99 from the store. Fans of turn-based strategy games are in for a treat as you’ll be able to command an army of units, setting them up with a variety of options in preparation for attack on the enemy team.
Whats good about this game is the replay value you’ll get for you’re $2.99 purchase. Not only does it feature a campaign mode, but it also features a full multiplayer mode allowing for online skirmishes. For fans of the genre, Cnet gives Uniwar a high recommendation.
