
Ubuntu 9.04 available for download
By: Alan Ng | April 24, 2009 | Leave a CommentWe can now inform you that Ubuntu version 9.04 is available to download as of now. The upgrade will offer faster bootups, Skype and Adobe flash support, open office 3.0, cloud support and much more.
As Zdnet reports, the 9.04 upgrade was first available on the market on Monday but they rightly informed us that the download would be available on Thursday. Just head to the official Ubuntu site to start downloading now.
As well as the features listed above, other additions include enhanced suspend and resume capabilities and faster switching between WiFi and 3G.
Added Cloud support for Ubuntu is expected to be one of the standout features of the update. Head to the website now for a choice of downloads between the standard Desktop Edition, Netbook Remix or Server Edition.
