New Clone Wars Game: Xbox 360 and PS3

We have heard reports today about a possible sequel to the Star Wars: Clone Wars games. It is thought to be a third-person action title and will release on both the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

As 1up suggests, the game will be developed by Krome Studio and even has a working title already. Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes is said to feature two-play co-op mode and feature playable characters such as Anakin Skywalker and Padawan Ahsoka Tana.

It’s worth pointing out that Krome Studio have previous experience working with Star Wars titles as they have worked on PSP and PS2 ports of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, as well as Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Lightsaber Duels on the Nintendo Wii.

Let’s hope they make this one a good one. Let us know your thoughts. We say bring back Jedi Power Battles, now THAT was a Star Wars game.
