Spb Mobile Shell user interface: v3.0 available
By: Peter Chubb | April 23, 2009
Spb Software have a new version of its software, v3.0 is now available and uses its Spb Mobile Shell user interface. This software has been designed especially for pocket PCs; this software is new to the market and has already become important to rivals of HTC’s TouchFLO interface.
When looking at the two you can clearly see some resemblances, however the main difference with the Spb Software is that it requires less resources to run properly. Spb Mobile Shell 3.0 does a great job in managing to satisfy both audiences, thanks to two widget-based home screens, Professional Home Screen and Lifestyle Home Screen. Both of these can be changed with the swipe of a finger.
SoftPedia expalins that the new interface on v3.0 allows you to customize your own home screens; you have the choice of changing your background, as well as choosing from a huge number of widgets. How great is it to know that you can fit a compatible 1024×768-pixel Windows operating system directly on to your pocket PC.
