Sony PS3 exclusive Killzone 2 has impressed Japanese critics
By: Alan Ng | April 23, 2009 | 1 CommentThe Japanese version of PS3 exclusive hits retails stores today and it has recieved very positive scores over there. While the FPS genre usually has no problems recieving attention in the US and EU, it’s often been a different story in Japan. Latest scores for the game though, have changed all that.
As PS3Center reports, the game has recieved a 90/85/80/80 score from Dengeki and a 32/40 score from Famitsu. This is rather good, considering they are two of the best gaming publications in Japan and often hand out stingy scores.
PS3Center also points out that Halo 3 is currently the best selling FPS over in Japan, with Resistance 2 behind that. Will Killzone 2 manage to overtake both of them? All signs are pointing towards yes.
