New T-Mobile Sidekick LX: News of another 2009 hands-on

A couple of nights ago T-Mobile held a private launch party for the upcoming Sidekick LX 2009, and those lucky guys at BGR were there and managed to get a hands-on with the phone. The first thing that BGR remarked on was not about the new handset but how T-Mobile knows how to throw a party.

Once the launch party was in full swing and enough food and drink hand been handed out, T-Mobile then showed off the Sidekick LX. BGR certainly had a good amount of time with the new cell phone, and it is the screen resolution that really stands out.

When you read 854×480 resolution on a spec sheet it does not prepare you for when you see it for real. The result of such a high res on a phone screen is crystal clear and vivid the F-WVGA display, once you take your eyes of the screen you start to see that this is the best Sidekick yet.
