Apple iPhone gets cheap VoIP over WiFi calls

We can confirm to you that Vopium has a brand new App for the iPhone which will compete with similar VoIP over WiFi solutions while offering you a cheaper deal for your calls.

As reported from IntoMobile, Vopium features a slick and easy to use interface, which will operate in a similar style to the iPhones Phone App.

Your address book will be unchanged, while Vopium is offering a great deal for those who choose to download it. Vopium is bundling it with 30 minutes of free calls and 30 text messages for every download.

IntoMobile also states that sending an SMS with Vopium will be cheaper, especially if you’re texting abroad as a single SMS sent costs only 0.09 GBP.

    Not sure whats so special with Vopium application when you can always use the free Fring application and choose your own voip provider. I mean Fring is compatible with most if not all voip providers as long as it is SIP based (sorry Skype users). It is pretty erliable too as I’ve tried with a handful of different providers and most recently with Onesuite voip.

    Fring is the way to go, free and easy to set it up.

    It’s special because it works with the iphone and allows iphone users to use voip.

    Can you recieve calls to my regular AT&T phone number over wifi? Blackberry has a setting that allows this.
