
Telefónica Deutschland and O2 bundle business activities

They will support each other in their operation of their mobile communications and landline infrastructures.
As reported from IntoMobile, Managing Director at Telefonica Andrea Folgueiras, had this to say on the move: “The most important basis is our state-of-the-art IP-based landline and wireless infrastructure. Thanks to the new constellation, we will be able to advance with the merger of these two infrastructures even more quickly than before.”
Looks like O2 are hoping to build on their success in the UK and reach out to a broader EU audience. Let us know what you think of the move.
