Sony PSP2 Release News: PlayStation LifeStyle
By: Alan Ng | April 22, 2009 | Leave a CommentWe wrote to you yesterday about some of the PSP2 features that PLAY magazine expected to see within the new hardware. Today, PlaystationLifestyle have offered similar thoughts on the types of features and additions we can hope to see in the next iteration of the Sony PSP.
PlaystationLifeStyle have boldly said that they are ”ready to “debunk” or “confirm” some of the rumors that are floating around the net.” They also stated to readers and anyone else interested in the PSP hardware rumours to wait untill E3 as ‘all will be revealed.’
According to their article they think that the rumours about no UMD drive will be true. However, they do not think that a touchscreen will be introduced, as many sources have speculated on recently. Also, all signs are looking good towards an introduction of flash memory, but they say Dual analogue sticks are not coming any time soon.
It’s certainly an interesting article. Don’t forget these are the guys who usually predict ‘rumoured PS store’ content days before they go live, so they obviously have some secret sources somewhere.
We want your feedback on this. Do you think their statements are true? No touchscreen and no Dual analogue sticks are going to be a huge blow for fans. Leave your comments below.
