Killzone 2 Patch 1.24: PS3 Download details, Bugs fixed
By: Alan Ng | April 22, 2009 | 2 CommentsWe wrote to you recently about the upcoming Killzone 2 Patch 1.24 for the Playstation 3. Today, an official post over at the PS Blog has explained some of the features and additions in detail for you.
One of the most exciting prospects of the update will be the inclusion of three hardcore ranks to the multiplayer mode. The ranks will be achieved at 5000, 10000 and 100000 points respectively and while they do not offer any specific rewards, it will be a chance for you to aim for the top rank and have something to show off to other players.
The official post also states that the update will ‘address a large number of reported issues, exploits and bugs’. It doesnt seem long since the last update went live for the game, the developers at Guerrilla are really working overtime to ensure fans get the most out of the Killzone 2 experience.
They explain that the upcoming 17-24 player filter was added due to direct request from the community. The ‘Join Clan Member tab’ which will be featured in the new patch is also a direct request from the community, so it’s nice to see that they listen to feedback and work with that accordingly.
Head to the PS Blog here and read the post in full for more details. Expect the patch to go live today at some point. Let us know what you think.
