
Firefox 3.0.9 download fixes 12 security vulnerabilities
By: Peter Chubb | April 22, 2009 | Leave a CommentWhen it comes to security, Mozilla is on top of its game, Firefox 3.0.9 download now fixes 12 security vulnerabilities, and four of these are considered critical. Firefox 3.0.9 is the third update from the web browser this year.
Cnet news reports that from the four critical updates two fixes two critical vulnerabilities in the Firefox browser engine, the other two fixes issues with the JavaScript engine. Developers over at Mozilla has identified and fixed several stability bugs in the web browser engine.
Firefox 3.0.9 comes as Mozilla prepares for the launch of Firefox 3.5, the fourth beta from the series. Some of the changes in 3.5 include faster execution of Web-based JavaScript programs, support for the JSON (JavaScript Object Notation), private browsing mode and much more. Mozilla are also working on Firefox 3.6.
