iPhone users are now waiting patiently for the release of the iPhone OS 3.0 as it is rumored to feature a theft prevention feature, this will allow you to locate your iPhone or iPod Touch via MobileMe if it has been stolen. However if you cannot wait then there is already a cool app called Undercover from Orbicule.
This app is perfect if you are not subscribed to Apple’s $99 a year cloud service. If you own a Mac desktop, then you are already familiar with Undercover as it helps victims locate stolen Mac notebooks and desktops.
Geek.com has been looking into the software and has provided quick and easy steps on how to set Undercover up. The first thing that you are told to do before setting the software up on your iPhone or iPod touch is to make certain that the Location Services are turned on in General section of iPhones Settings app.
