Battlefield 2 v1.50 patch: download available

Good news for Battlefield fans as we can now inform you that the v.150 patch for Battlefield 2 is now available to download. The update adds a new map into the game as well as various gameplay tweaks.

As reported from the Examiner, the new map added is called ‘Operation Blue Pearl’, while another map ‘Highway Tampa’ is added as a required map. Additional support for Windows Vista should be now functional, although no further notes were released on that.

As for the gameplay changes in the patch, the J10 and F35B have now been altered to make them more balanced in the game. Hit detection has been tweaked, allowing for more accurate aiming, while a few issues have been changed to help prevent cheating in-game.

The download should be available right now here. Let us know what you think of the updates.
