You would have thought that T-Mobile would have give us all the juicy details on its new 3G Sidekick LX 2009, but there is still much that we do not know. There are a few things that we do know about the newest cell phone and its cool video capability is one of them.
Mobile Crunch has been taking a closer look and points out that the new Sidekick LX features full video capabilities and a high-resolution display. The new smartphone is capable of recording either 176 × 144 or 320 × 240 resolution in the MP4 format. The 1GB microSD memory card should be able to hold up to 17 hours of video recordings.
Video playback on the new T-Mobile Sidekick LX is made easy, and with support for H.263, H.264, 3GPP and MPEG-4 video playback, it is much improved on the older model. The new handset will be unveiled today at NYC.
