Apple TV features on iPhone 3.0

We reported this morning that PhoneNews.com said that Apple are looking to give the next-generation Apple iPhone with 3.0 OS TV-like capabilities which will allow it to playback content on HDTVs. The new iPhones will support HD and that a new cable and dock will allow you to connect your smartphone to the TV.

You will then be able to use an Apple remote to control the functions, you can then play back video and audio that has been stored on your phone or computers that are connected to your network. It is great to have Apple TV features on iPhone 3.0, but Technologizer.com does see one problem with this, what happens when you get an incoming call.

The next iPhone looks set to get a higher-resolution screen for HD playback. One thing is certain; consumers really want a new iPhone now, one that has greater performance and much better hardware. The current iPhone certainly has a great screen, but as it is now two-years old, a newer high-res screen is needed.
