HP Firebird 802 Gaming desktop gets $500 price cut

If you’re on the lookout for a new gaming setup, you might want to check out the HP Firebird 802 gaming system. It’s only been out a few months but HP have already announced a $500 price cut for the system.

As reported from Engadget, the $500 price cut consists of a $150 cut to the $1,799 base price and then a further $350 on mail-in rebate.

If you are unaware of the capabilities the Firebird 802 has at it’s disposal allow us to refresh your memory. It comes packed with an Core 2 Quad 9400 processor, dual NVIDIA GeForce 9800S graphics cards, 500GB Hard Drive and 4GB of RAM.

    For all its good points you have to have doubts when HP will not offer extended service packs with this line. Mine came with defective mobo.
