New Apple iPhone features: front-facing camera and dynamic UI
By: Peter Chubb | April 17, 2009 | Leave a CommentApple has filed a couple of patents for its new iPhone, and it looks as though the smartphone will be getting a couple of new features. Apple would like to put a front-facing camera and a dynamic UI, this will change based on motion detection.
Apple will need to work quickly if they wish to get these new features added to the next iPhone. The news of this front-facing camera confirms that video chat is high on the list for Cupertino, but it is the massive undertaking of changing the iPhones UI.
Intomobile explains that this new motion sensor will be able to detect if the user is jogging, the phone will then adapt itself and show larger icons, making it easier for the user to control the phone. We have to wonder what other cool features Apple has in store for the new iPhone.
