Microsoft’s Bill Gates files patent for Electromagnetic engine

As we know Bill Gates has his fingers in our PCs, netbooks, laptops, cell phones and media players, but now the guy behind Microsoft wants to move into the car industry with his own engine. Gates has filed a patent for an Electromagnetic Engine and Plasma Injectors.

Ten people one of which is William H. Gates, III, along with Microsoft’s former chief technology officer, Nathan Myhrvold, have filed the patent. The patent was originally filed back in October 2007. It seems that Mr. Windows himself want s to change the way we drive just like he changed the way that we use computers.

The electromagnetic engine will do away with the traditional combustible engine; the idea of energy efficient automobiles is a pleasing one to most of us, maybe not the oil companies though. Visit the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to read the full details.
