Killzone 2: Co-op not coming as DLC – Guerilla Games
By: Alan Ng | April 15, 2009 | 3 CommentsSome disappointing news for Killzone 2 fans now as Hermen Hulst from Guerilla Games has recently stated that the game will not be recieving any form of Co-Op in the way of downloadable content.
As reported by PSU, he was speaking in an interview with Game Informer and stated: “We looked at all the different flavors of co-op early on, but decided our first priority would have to be the single-player experience and the multiplayer.
He explained that in order to bring a Co-Op mode to the game, it would have to be given the same time and care that the single and multiplayer modes recieved and that was a factor that they ultimately decided against.
”Rather than just tack on co-op, it would have to be integrated and done to a similar standard as the single and multiplayer.”
Still, its not all doom and gloom for Killzone 2 fans as they still have the Steel & Titanium map pack to look forward to at the end of this month.
