Touch-enabled Zune HD almost confirmed: no release date
By: Peter Chubb | April 14, 2009 | Leave a CommentWe have known for a couple of weeks now that a fourth generation touch –enabled Zune HD will be coming this fall, and is all but officially confirmed by Microsoft. Details of the new device are hard to come by, so we hope to get some soon.
We know that we are close to hearing that the new Zune will be launched soon, as Engadget was sent some screencaps of a marketing campaign. We know that Zune HD will be the next version of Microsoft’s portable media player, but it seems as if they are keeping mum for now.
We can expect to see some leaked shots of the Zune HD soon, this will then give as an idea as to the size, weight and specification of the device. It is also assumed that a new release of an updated software version will make the Zune platform even better; it will also offer improvements to the Zune Marketplace.
