When it comes to rumors of Apple products, there are plenty of them, from the new netbook to the new iPhone. We have now learned that there could be three new iPhone smartphones launched in 2009. Apple Insider tells us that we could expect to see an EDGE-only model, a new 3G model and an iPhone that is tailored for the Chinese market.
We knew that we could expect to see two new iPhone models, thanks to discoveries within betas of iPhone Software 3.0, but China Times have claimed that Apple has placed an order for 4 million new iPhones. These will not be spilt over two models, but in fact three.
The order is due to be delivered to Apple by the end of June. In the China Times report it states that there will not be an iPhone Nano. There has been much speculation as to what the new iPhone will look like, the reports says that it will look similar to the current iPhone 3G.
