Sega confirms MotionPlus support for Virtua Tennis 2009
Filed under: Gaming, Nintendo Wii

Many speculated this would happen anyway, but today Sega have officially confirmed that Virtua Tennis 2009 will make use of the new Nintendo MotionPlus accessory.
As reported by Videogamer, the MotionPlus accessory will allow much greater control in the game, allowing the player to respond a lot more accurately to swings and shots of each player.
Even better yet, a slight twist of the wrist will allow a player to slice the ball, while an ‘upward motion’ using MotionPlus will allow for realistic lobs of the ball. We like the sound of these features.
The game is scheduled for release in May onto Wii, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Let us know your thoughts on it.
