Bethesda has ‘Learnt their Lesson’ over Fallout 3 DLC problems
By: Alan Ng | April 14, 2009 | Leave a CommentBethesda has said today that they have ‘Learnt their lesson’, following continuous problems regarding DLC for their game, Fallout 3. The most recent pack, ‘The Pitt’ was released exclusively on Xbox Live, but has been plagued with numerous bugs, glitches and corrupt game files.
When speaking in an interview with GI.Biz, Pete Hines VP of marketing had this to say: “It’s one of those things where we prefer with The Pitt never happened. But in the context of all the DLC we ever put out – keep in mind all the times we put out DLC for Oblivion and never once had a corrupted file issue – it was just kind of a flukey, one-time version of this thing.”
He continued to say that they had since ‘learnt their lesson’ from the whole fiasco and explains exactly what happened. Let’s hope the next DLC on the way doesnt suffer the same fate as ‘The Pitt. Check out the full interview above if you would like to hear more.
